Upcoming Event - 3rd Summer School on Sustainable Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Entrepreneurial Finance on 4-6 May 2026

Sustainable Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Entrepreneurial Finance – Third Edition Lake Como School of Advanced Studies.

The creation, success, survival and effective development of new ventures depend on several factors of growing importance, beyond those traditionally studied in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation. Internal and external decision-making processes, social and environmental concerns, entrepreneurial ecosystems (i.e. networks of entities such as universities, public bodies, private research labs, investors, etc.), and the availability of financial instruments in a changing financial environment all profoundly influence entrepreneurship and innovation dynamics.

The Summer School in Sustainable Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Entrepreneurial Finance aims to address these themes. Its main goal is to foster an ongoing and constructive dialogue among senior, young and aspiring scholars in entrepreneurship, innovation, and finance, to promote research relevant to entrepreneurship theory and practice in the contemporary world.

Doctoral students and early career researchers will have the opportunity to advance their research by engaging with internationally renowned scholars and discussing the relevance and implications of their work in an interdisciplinary, international and stimulating setting.

The School includes: – Lectures and seminars on emerging research areas; – Paper development sessions; – Informal mentoring and networking opportunities.

Now in its third edition, the School was launched within the MUSA – Multilayered Urban Sustainability Action project, and is jointly organised by the University of Milano-Bicocca, Bocconi University, Politecnico di Milano, and the University of Milan.
